The Pre-University Business option will allow students to progress to universities like:
- Maynooth University, UCD, DCU and DIT to pursue business, marketing, finance or commerce options.
- DIT, DT324 in Business Management, however DIT has many places on all of their business programmes and 450 in total in the college.
- Business graduates can also access over100 places in First Arts in Maynooth University.

The Liberal Arts course at Dundrum College of Further Education has allowed me the opportunity to explore different areas within the Humanities. I now have options for progressive study which wouldn’t have been possible before and it has instilled in me the confidence to study English Literature at university level. I would implore anyone looking to go onto studying the humanities at University to consider this course first as it offers such rich well of learning and growth as an individual and within academia.

I studied my Level 6 in Early Learning & Care at DCFE and I can wholeheartedly say that this course is second to none! The tutors were extremely helpful and made the classes so interesting. This made my time on the course go fast due to their dedication and how hard they work with you to make sure to help you in any way they can. The modules were very informative and I found that I could put a lot of theory into practice.If you are deciding on what college to study childcare in I highly recommend this course to you! It was extremely flexible for me while I worked, watching class recordings in my own time, having plenty of time to complete assignments and having amazing tutors who are on hand to email or zoom call whenever you have questions! I am now a Room Leader planning to do my level 7 in the future thanks to plenty of encouragement.

College education at level 5 and 6 in the Horticulture course flew by like happy days. I am very glad that I came to the course because I received not only a new skill, but also a new wonderful hobby. My wonderful teachers gave me a lot of happy emotions in learning and practicing gardening and garden design. Now I feel like a real professional and I can create and give flower beauty to people. It is amazing that this course is for all ages and different people, as everyone can find a foothold in this stable knowledge that will help them get closer to nature and better understand the plant world. I undertook the Garden Design course in the academic year 2022/23. I have thoroughly enjoyed the course, the classes were always interesting and provided us with a vast amount of information. The staff were always supportive, encouraging and willing to assist us if or when issues arose. We undertook weekly work practice one day per week right through the course until March. At this stage we did work placement for the entire month and this allowed us to develop our practical skills. It is a great way to learn and to meet new people who have a similar interest in gardening matters.I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in a career in Garden Design and in the general area of Horticulture or to anyone who just wants to broaden their knowledge in these areas.
