Aim

These courses prepare students for employment opportunities in any administrative setting by providing students with a broad and balanced programme while allowing for individuality (selection of elective modules).

The
specialist modules allow students to select based on their chosen area of
interest.  The courses
are of value to those who are interested in working as an executive
secretary/personal assistant, this includes medical or legal settings, as
well as the financial services settings such as Insurance companies or banks a
complex and highly regulator sector within our Economy.  Social networking sites like Facebook,
Twitter and LinkedIn are a key element in today’s business communications and
this course can support the integration of Office applications and social media
in a business context. It
is very varied and will give you the IT and administrative skills required
to build a career in this exciting profession.

Entry Requirements          

  • Leaving Certificate or its equivalent is advised
  • Mature students are welcome to apply. Work/life experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Progression
