Aim
This course prepares students with knowledge and
skills required to run an internet business.
Computer modules are combined with traditional business modules to
prepare graduates with skills to work in innovative small and medium businesses
(SME)
Entry Requirements
- Leaving Cert/Leaving Cert Applied or its equivalent.
- For mature students, work experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
Work Experience
Two weeks’ work experience in a medical environment is incorporated into this course.
Career Opportunities
The course provides graduates with opportunities such as running an internet business, providing marketing support to an SME business or becoming part of a marketing team within any organisation.
Progression
Graduates who achieve the required standard may progress to further studies to the Certificate in Administration Level 6 available in the College or to Institutes of Technology and Universities. Examples of progression courses include:
